Christmas time sees the completion of yet another residential garden construction by GCLL at a property in Bramall, Cheshire.The works involved the installation of four different types of natural stone paving, extensive land drainage, ground clearance, topsoiling and ornamental planting.The work took approximately 8 weeks to complete. Thanks lads a great end product.

GCLL lengthened the garden created a new lawn and Japanese garden area with stepping stones the side of the house in South Manchester.

A new "garden office " was installed for the owner to work from home. Outdoor lighting was provided and a barbecue / fire pit relaxation area constructed.

To the front of the property new sandstone steps with radial setts and a permeable crushed silver-grey gravel driveway system were installed.

The sad drab frontage of an 1796 listed weaver's cottage was severely in need of an uplift.The removal of concrete paving and wheelie bins enabled the area to be

repaved in natural paving and setts,and a picnic table built. The driveway resurfaced and a bin store constructed with a "living roof".

The rear garden of a house in Heaton Moor was transformed by GCLL.

A new contemporary boundary fence was erected with a row of pleached hornbeams to provide privacy from the neighbouring property. An expanse of hardwood decking was installed to create a sun lounging area and a stone paved raised breakfast terrace constructed with white rendered retaining walls, steps and glass balustrade immediately outside the dining room patio doors.

A steeply sloping overgrown garden in Didsbury Manchester was in dire need of some TLC! GCLL cleared the site, erected a large timber decked patio area with steps leading to a new level lawn with footpaths and planted areas.

New SS handrails, Corten water features were provided and the existing boundary fences and garden shed repainted.

A sloping waterlogged garden to the rear of a large three storey house in Heywood was in need of radical improvement!

GCLL stripped the site, constructed raised planting beds to two sides retained with timber sleeper walls. An extensive new land drain system was installed and the garden planted with ornamental shrubs and trees. A large level new lawned area completed the project.

The elevated rear garden of a terraced house in Huddersfield was redeveloped with the construction of raised stone planting beds, a lavenda hedge and ornamental planting. A small garden shed, hardwood furniture and log store completed this little project.
